How a Spanish parcel is sent depends on the direction. When you send from Spain — to another Spanish SoleMate or abroad — you book and pay for the label on our partner Packlink’s own checkout, then drop the parcel off; there is no in-app label to print for that leg.
A parcel coming into Spain is handled in-app on Packeta, which hands off to Correos for home delivery. From Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary, Romania or Poland it ships on Packeta; from Austria on our Sendcloud carrier, and from Germany, France or Portugal the sender in that country books it on Packlink. Deliveries into Spain are to the address (home delivery).
Spain matches widely: Portugal is the closest neighbour and a natural partner, France and Germany are well connected too, and swaps with Austria and the Central-European countries (Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary, Romania, Poland) are supported as well. You still pay only for the shoe coming to you.
The leg you send from Spain is paid directly on Packlink when you book the label, so the in-app total for that leg is just the shop fee. The parcel coming to you is priced in-app — the amounts are on the delivery fees page.
Spain uses EU shoe sizing, so matching with the rest of the platform is direct. Step Swap pairs you with someone whose sizes mirror yours within about a one EU size tolerance.

Payments run through Stripe as a hold rather than an instant charge. If a swap is not completed within its window, the hold is released, so an unfinished swap costs you nothing.
